Privacy Policy

Last updated — July 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how OMI Solutions collects, uses, discloses, protects, and retains information in connection with this website and any correspondence you have with the studio. The short version: this is a static informational site with no accounts, no forms, and no advertising or analytics trackers — it collects as little as possible. This policy is written to be consistent with Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

01Data controller

OMI Solutions ("OMI Solutions", "the studio", "we", "us", or "I") is an independent engineering studio based in Morocco and is the data controller responsible for the information described in this policy.

For any question about this policy or how your data is handled, contact contact@omisolutions.ma. Requests are answered personally.

02Scope

This policy applies to this website and to direct correspondence with the studio. It does not cover third-party websites linked from here, nor personal data processed as part of a paid engagement — that processing is governed by the separate written agreement (and, where relevant, a data processing agreement) signed with the client.

03Information you provide

The site itself has no user accounts, comment systems, or contact forms. The only way you actively provide information is by choosing to email the studio. When you do, we receive:

  • Contact details. your email address and any name or organization you include.
  • Message content. anything you write in your message, including details about your project or enquiry.
  • Attachments. any files or documents you choose to send.

04Information collected automatically

Like most websites, the hosting infrastructure this site runs on may automatically record limited technical data when you visit — such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, the resources requested, and the date and time of the request. These server logs exist for security, reliability, and abuse prevention, and are processed by the hosting provider under its own terms.

This site does not run analytics scripts, advertising pixels, session-recording tools, or device fingerprinting of any kind.

05Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies and does not use local storage to profile you. If a strictly necessary technical cookie is ever required for the site to function, it will not be used to identify or track you across sites. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings at any time without affecting your ability to read this site.

06How we use information

  • Responding. to reply to your enquiry and carry out or evaluate work you ask about.
  • Records. to keep an accurate record of our correspondence and any engagement.
  • Operations. to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website.
  • Legal. to comply with legal obligations and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims where necessary.

07Legal bases for processing

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Legitimate interests. to respond to enquiries, keep records, and secure the site (Article 6(1)(f)).
  • Consent. where you voluntarily send us information by email (Article 6(1)(a)); you may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Contract. where processing is necessary to take steps toward, or perform, an agreement with you (Article 6(1)(b)).
  • Legal obligation. where we must process data to comply with the law (Article 6(1)(c)).

08Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. Information is disclosed only:

  • Service providers. to the hosting and email providers needed to operate the site and correspondence, acting as our processors under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal requirements. where disclosure is required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of the studio or others.
  • Business transfer. in the unlikely event of a reorganization, the same protections in this policy would continue to apply.

09International transfers

The studio is based in Morocco, and our hosting and email providers may process data on servers located in other countries. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we rely on providers that offer appropriate safeguards — such as standard contractual clauses or an equivalent lawful transfer mechanism — so that your data remains protected wherever it is processed.

10Data security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse — including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending highly sensitive information by unencrypted email.

11Data retention

We keep email correspondence only for as long as it is relevant to your enquiry or an ongoing engagement, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, or record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted. Server logs are retained according to the hosting provider's standard schedules and then rotated out.

12Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the following rights over your personal data:

  • Access. request confirmation of, and a copy of, the data we hold about you.
  • Rectification. ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure. ask us to delete your data where there is no overriding reason to keep it.
  • Restriction and objection. ask us to limit, or object to, certain processing.
  • Portability. receive certain data in a portable, machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw consent. withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
  • Complain. lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Morocco, the CNDP (Commission Nationale de contrôle de la protection des Données à caractère Personnel), or your local authority in the EU.

13Children's privacy

This site is intended for a professional audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

14Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, is always posted on this page, and material changes will be reflected in the date above. Continued use of the site after an update means the revised policy applies.

15Contact

For anything related to this policy, your data, or to exercise any of your rights, email contact@omisolutions.ma.
